Anne Phung Nguyen

Anne Phung Nguyen. Hello! My name is Anne Phung Nguyen. A Vietnamese American entrepreneur who lives with her incredible fianc JP at Orange County California. Henry is a very happy and lucky father. The majority of people have come across me through my Instagram account @annephung, where I post my daily life: my highs, lows and all in between. My family relocated to America. When I was of 1 and 1/4, I joined my parents. Knowing I had an opportunity to have a brighter future, I strived to make them proud and had tunnel vision when it came to the success. In my mind, I had a plan for life. Go to college and get a degree. Get married. Buy a house. Have kids. The lifestyle I had thought I would have was not what it turned into. The year 2013 brought me to the realization that I disliked my corporate position. Even though the compensation and position was good, I didn't feel like it was fulfilling. It was more like I was simply doing nothing but wasting time. As I navigated my way through a different job, I realized I was destined to work as personal trainer. I was a fan of exercising, I enjoyed being social and I enjoy helping others. The year 2014 was the year that I founded my small company and I will celebrate my 7th year anniversary by 2021. It's not common to see an Asian woman in this business. In the coaching industry, I want to change the world by providing quality training to assist others in becoming more healthy and happy. Additionally, I want to encourage others to go after their dreams and do all they wish to do in their life. My professional career began to take off when I experienced the greatest success of my life. However, my mother passed away just when my career took off. In Heaven she is now in peace after an 8-year battle against Scleroderma. But I still carry her with me and think about her each day. Even if you can't see the signs at first, God has a funny way of providing us with what we truly require. My mother's sudden death that changed me forever. And I really believe it gave me an opportunity to live my life. When she passed away at the age of 87 on Tet/Lunar New Year Day it was the perfect time to start her new life, and also give me a second chance to live a happy, fulfilled and meaningful life. When I reach my 30's, I feel more vibrant than I have ever. I am able to say that I live now and not just surviving just like I did in the past. The purpose of telling my story is to show you that you're not alone. I would like you to be aware that love exists and that therapy can be common. Your health is your greatest asset. Only one life is yours. I wish you to enjoy it to the max.
