Anya began acting as a child in community theatre and continued to explore the arts into her teens. Anya-Josephine Marie Taylor Joy is an actor. She has won numerous awards and nominations, including a Golden Globe Award. Taylor-Joy quit school at the age of sixteen to pursue an acting career. Anya Taylor Joy (born April 16th, 1996) was born in Miami Florida. Her mother is English half Spanish. Her parents are Dennis Alan Taylor an ex-banker and Jennifer Marina Joy psychologist. She is the daughter of an Argentinean of Scottish, English and Argentinean heritage. Her mother is Spanish-English. Taylor-Joy has four siblings from her father's prior marriage. They lived within Buenos Aires up until Taylor-Joy reached the age of six, then moved to Victoria district in London. Taylor-Joy claims that the move into London was difficult and that she didn't study English so that she could avoid returning to Argentina. Hill House had to be her new school after she moved from Northlands. She enrolled later at Queen's Gate School in which she was a ballet student and took part in school plays. When she dropped out of school at the age of 16 and pursuing a full-time acting career. The dream of Taylor-Joy to become an actor of professional caliber was born at an early age.
